The NameQuay principle
No forced purchase. No lease-to-own. Just a clear rental agreement that gives growing companies access to better names.
Good to know
No. NameQuay is focused on domain rental rather than sales or lease-to-own. The monthly price and minimum rental period are shown with each domain.
The registered domain owner retains ownership. The renter receives the agreed right to use the domain for the duration of the rental agreement.
A domain must be verified before it can be published on NameQuay. Owners are required to demonstrate control of the domain, with DNS-based verification forming part of the platform process.
The domain can normally be connected through DNS or redirected to an existing website. The exact setup depends on your website and hosting provider.
Yes. Subject to the rental agreement, DNS can be configured so the domain works with both your website and email service.
Current listings require a minimum rental period of 12 months. Any renewal, payment schedule and other terms are set out in the individual rental agreement.
Your right to use the domain ends unless the agreement is renewed. The domain must then be disconnected from your website, email and other services in accordance with the agreement.
No. A domain can only be rented to one customer at a time. Reserved and rented domains cannot accept a new rental application.
Yes. You can submit a strong domain for consideration. NameQuay reviews every submission and verifies ownership before an approved domain is published.
